We have over 100 miles of trails within Fort Collins and just minutes from the City. The venues available for biking includes everything from paved paths throughout the urban area (THINK BIKING TO WORK) to very long, challenging rides up Rist and Poudre Canyon. Or if you like dirt, try Lory State Park, just west of Fort Collins.

The owner writes regularly for the Fort Collins Coloradoan newspaper on the subject of bike safety for adult and child riders as well as the folks that share the road with them in vehicles.

Bicycling Magazine has named Fort Collins as one of the top bike friendly cities in the United States - it is a city with a major commitment to biking systems and a robust bike friendly culture. It has "Bike-in" movies sponsored by a local business, marathons, and Colorado State University has a six week track racing series it runs.
Of the cities in Colorado with populations over 95,000, Fort Collins was ranked higher than Denver and Colorado Springs - Only Boulder was ranked above it. Ft Collins has over 300 miles of cycling trails and put in place one of the first of a kind bike sharing networks that has served thousands since it was put in place around 2009.
