Want to live in a place that is, according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, "the only community in the world to have all of its flagship parks designated as Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries by Audubon International". This designation is truly a feather in the cap of this great Northern Colorado City. We have a lot of active citizens in the Audubon community, in fact, over 700 active members have helped pave the way for this honor. General wildlife habitat continuity, water resource design and public cooperation are the hallmarks of this environmentally sustainable infrastructure driven by the stewardship of a well educated and very aware community. You might want to check out another of my blog articles on Open Space and Homes in our Choice City and, since we have miles and miles of trails running through the City Parks that have been designated as Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries, take a look my take on Bicycling Year Round.
