I Love Timnath — as you cross over I-25 on Harmony Road and leaving Fort Collins, the world changes... You will find a a unique little town with a lot of nice new housing going up in its subdivisions. It has grown from a couple hundred people to over a thousand in the last decade or so. The growth has been positive - taking place in such a way as too leave the Old Town Timnath area intact. It has a great tax base thanks to a new WalMart store located at I-25 on the little towns western boundary. It too sits away from the Old Town Timnath area. Timnath has always been a great place to raise a family, have fun and find excellent value in homes — both old and new. Lots of good planning is going into creating a future for the residents of Timnath — a great recreational lake, a hiking and biking trail system in process, nearby golf courses and not to be forgotten, the nationally renowned Swetzville Sculpture Park
One of the most important facilities in Timnath is Bethke Elementary - check it out - it is the crown jewel of grade schools in the Poudre Schools System. I have a real love for this school as it was named after my wife's father, Paul Bethke. The school's culture incorporates the key values of kindness, respect, responsibility and integrity - Dr. Bethke embodied these characteristics and championed them as an educator for over 50 years. If you have young children, this is where you want your children to be.
